Glass Art
I was raised in a home that was progressive in the arts. My parents were active in the early studio art glass society and I too developed an interest in the hot glass form.
Since I was not able to put a glory hole in my student apartments or even in my basement I began my glass career with stained glass, mosaic arts, garden art and stepping stones. I then progressed to learn the art of hot head beading and beading with the use of duel
fuel torches. I have combined the mediums of glass, metal foils, enamels and etching to create my art. Each piece is unique and each piece has a life of its own.
I continue to challenge myself by learning new techniques and combining those I have already mastered. I enjoy the surprises that result from the fire and come out of my ovensand love to work with the colors, light and fire that produce my creations.
